Freedom!

Mark got his car back today. Which means I got my car back today. Two people who both work full-time in different cities and on different shifts sharing one car does not work well. I've more or less resigned myself to a fate of never going anywhere, and it's not like I go out that often after work anyway - it's just having the option taken away that bothers me. And having to ask for rides home. Pretty much everyone in my department knew about my situation and offered me rides on a regular basis, but I hate having people go out of their way (even if it's less than two miles) for my benefit while knowing that we could have rented a car - but there's really not money for that right now. If nothing else, the last three weeks have taught me (in addition to where not to get my car worked on) that I work with some really cool people. I hope I get the opportunity to return the favor to all of them, but I would not wish the hassle these last three weeks has been on anyone.
